The Philodendron Atabapoense is a beautiful climbing aroid with narrow leaves that can get 80cm in length. Unlike many other Philodendrons the maroon red colours on the back of the leaves remain the same as it matures.

Roots

This plant was discovered by G.S. Bunting in 1975 in the tropical rainforests of Venezuela. Besides residing in Southern Venezuela, this plant is also native to te amazone rainforest in Brazil.
